ABOUT THE ARTIST

             Emma Ohlstein is an artist and designer, her portfolio contains many different mediums, such as graphic design, ceramics, and sculpture. While she loves creating new work, her favorite medium to work with is ceramics. The ability to use the clay to create new experimental forms while being useful pieces of work fascinates her. Emma’s ceramic work aims to capture the essence, and energy of life rooted in wanderlust and exploration of both the planet and one’s self.

Her newest focus of coffee exploration and clay being intertwined shows the myriad of culture, coffee, language and how they can be reflected in Emma’s work through her perspective of her heritage and of the countries she has visited.

 Despite her main focus being ceramics she does occupy her free time drawing and taking commissions. Emma is a graduate from Central Saint Martins in London with an Honors Bachelor degree in ceramics.
